Returns & Refunds Policy

At Bolt Design, every product is carefully designed, tested, and made to order to ensure consistent quality and performance. However, if something isn’t right, you have the right to return your item under the terms below.

Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item. You must notify us within 14 days of delivery and then have a further 14 days to return the item. A full refund will be issued, including standard delivery costs where applicable.

Before You Return

If you’re unsure about anything, please get in touch first — we’re happy to help with fitment, compatibility, or setup. In many cases, issues can be resolved quickly without the need for a return.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused and in new, resalable condition. Items must not show signs of installation or use beyond basic inspection and should be returned in original packaging where possible. Proof of purchase is required. Due to the nature of our products, items that have been fitted, used, or tested in use cannot be resold and may not be eligible for a full refund. We reserve the right to reduce the refund where an item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect it.

Return Costs

Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible and cover return postage costs where applicable.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5 working days and issued to your original payment method.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on items that have been used, installed, or tested in use, or on custom or made-to-order products unless faulty.
